Number Focus Game
Choose a number, like 2. Students stand in a circle and try to focus as they take turns counting but not saying any number with a "2" in it. Students may say one or two numbers when it is their turn.Example:
First Student would say: 1
Next student : 3, 4
5
6,7
8, 9
10, 11
13 (they would skip saying 12 because it has a 2 in it)
14
15, 16
17, 18,
19, 30 (skipping all the numbers in the 20's because they have the number 2 in them)
Play until students loose focus seeing how high they can get.
