Learning how to multiply by 12
One teammate writes 12 x 1 = ___
12 x 2 = ___
and so on to 12 x 12.
The other person writes 12 + 12 on their whiteboard and tells their teammate the answer 12 times two is 24. She/he records it. Continue adding 12 to the previous answer to complete the 12's chart.
Fun to play this with format of The Amazing Race TV show. The first 5 teams to arrive with the chart completed earn a spot in the next round. Any team arriving after are lucky it is NOT an elimination round, they only en cure a speed bump (do 5 more problems....????)
